The Elecnor Group feels a responsibility to become more actively involved in the challenges and needs of the environments in which it operates. This entity was constituted in late 2008 to commemorate the company’s 50th anniversary.
The Elecnor Foundation is a private, non-profit entity that pushes the company’s intervention into the social arena. The aim is to demonstrate the commitment engineering has with human beings and society.

To enhance effectiveness, the Foundation’s efforts are intimately linked with Elecnor’s own business activity. The Elecnor Foundation plays a highly significant role within the company's Corporate Responsibility policy, as it is the means by which activities of social interest are channelled into two areas:
Training and Research
Enerfín is the wind power subsidiary of Grupo Elecnor, one of the main global corporations in the development and operation of infrastructure projects, renewable energies and new technologies, with a presence in over 50 countries and a team of 18,000 professionals.
Enerfín has a stake in 1,227 MW of wind energy in operation in Spain, Brazil and Canada, with a production of more than 3,500 GWh/year, capable of supplying more than 1.5 million homes and avoiding the emission of 656,000 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere.
